Megaverse invites you to shift perspectives between the physical and digital worlds in this multi-dimensional installation. Featuring music by Anna Meredith, spoken word poetry by Vanessa Kisuule, and a live performance by The PappyShow, SURGE is a clarion call to ecological action.
SURGE is a real-time production, fusing game-engine technology with live performance and spatialised sound. Two elected audience members play an active role in the performance driving the narrative using full body motion capture and VR headsets. This performance is propelled by state of the art monolithic LED screens which provide an augmented view into the tumultuous world of SURGE.
